I agree.. we could not be where we are today without them. I was chatting with my mom today and we were speaking about the memorial services on CBC, I said what really got to me and did as a young girl watching, were the Veterans, some with the pain on their faces, reliving it, some with tears flowing , it got to me.. bless them all.
Well, I guess the traumas they had to experience had a permanent affect. We would not want to imagine the horrific scenes and emotion they had to endure. Bless them all.
