"Calm" After the Storm

Cape Spear, just a few miles from St. John's, is an exciting place to be when the winds are in the right direction (easterly), or like today, after an early winter storm, with the Atlantic churned up.

Great shots, makes me a little homesick.

It's easy to miss these kinds of scenes Nadine. It's harsh place but at the same time it's dramatic to watch the power of the ocean & wind blast the waves onshore.

Wicked shots! I was out there the same day, it was nuts :)

Glad you liked them Mr. C. Yes that was a wild day on the ocean, a lot of spray in the air, not too warm either.
