Sometime around 1990 I was told that "you won't be able to buy film in 5 years" I also heard an instructor at one time in referring to the ease of use of MSOffice 1995 that there will be no graphic artists because secretaries will be able to do their own desktop publishing.
I guess the moral of the story is that there is no way of predicting where technology will take us or what the timeline will be.
If someone could make those kinds of predictions they'd be a wealthy man or woman indeed.
Me, I'm hanging onto my Commodore 64. I hear they are making a comeback.
haha .. Commodore 64, well ya never know bnb. I'd say Tim Horton was probably laughed at when he first mentioned the idea of a shop where you Sell coffee. It goes to show I guess that what seems like a crazy idea at the time can be a great idea when people have vision and perspective on it.
